It depends on that month's theme. Some markers (like blood sugar or triglycerides) are most meaningful after 8–12 hours without food; many others, like hormones or thyroid markers, are unaffected. Your monthly reminder tells you exactly how to prepare for that panel. When in doubt, test in the morning before breakfast and drink plenty of water.
